I have always had a love for all things wedding! But my passion for
events didn’t start at the aisle.
For ten years I owned and operated Sydney’s Leading promotional
agency, starting my business at age 22 I grew my business
Deveaux Promotions to the premier promotional agency in Sydney, having
established a reputation for event staffing, clients requested this same
of level of professionalism with the entire management of their event.
The business then adapted to total event management from concept design
to execution.
The company’s expertise spanned, national product Launches, Tradeshows,
Sporting events, corporate and PR requirements and national in-store
demonstrating. Co-coordinating not only staff but logistics for events
such as Bathurst 2000, Mardi Gras, Iron man, Good Vibrations, Big Day
Out, Moonlight Cinema, State of Origin, Melbourne Cup to name a few.
I have worked with multi national companies rolling out campaigns
nationally for Coca Cola, Carlton United Breweries, TAB CORP, Phillip
Morris, Sharp, Holden, Jack Daniels, Moet & Chandon, Southern Comfort,
Loreal, Orlando Whyndam, Rexona, Whiskas, Strongbow and more.
In 2005 I made another sound business decision to spend more time with
my young family and I sold Deveaux to a large PR firm and it
continues to lead the promotional field today.
I have an undeniable excitement for planning and coordinating weddings
and have freelanced as a wedding events planner for the past 5 years. My
passion lead me to the decision to formalize my infatuation and launch
The White Idea focused solely on weddings and private soirées.
I have an advanced diploma in Event Management and Wedding Planning
combined with over 16 years experience in events.
