Sydney Harbour Wedding

A New Years Wedding held at the gorgeous Sebel Hotel Pier One in Sydney. The happy couple wanted to show off our beautiful Harbour to their international guests from Ireland and Italy. Cristina and Darren were such a  relaxed bride and groom and it was a pleasure working with them.  The ceremony held at Hickson Reserve looked directly at the Opera House and the bride was escorted to the ceremony site by her father and a  bagpiper playing Amazing Grace. The guests enjoyed a Harbour Cruise, followed by cocktails and canapés overlooking the Harbour Bridge followed by a sit down reception.

Blue Mountains Wedding

I had so much fun planning Sally and Adams wedding. They were so warm, genuine and relaxed. The weather was a perfect autumn day and the view unbelievable at the stunning Yester Grange property.  There were 160 guests in a 30ft marquee wedding nestled into bush land. Overlooking the Blue Mountains escarpment was incredible!

Sally and Adam both live in WA so they needed a complete planning service from The White Idea to facilitate and all-encompassing destination wedding. Beautiful day, beautiful couple.

English Garden Wedding

Both English, our happy couple opted for a English garden wedding theme at Clarkes Point Reserve Woolwich. After the ceremony at the gorgeous St Marks Church Darling Point, the guests were transported by a red London Double Decker bus to Double Bay.  Here they boarded a luxury boat and cruised over to Woolwich sipping champagne and taking in the spectular views. Once at Woolwich the guests played Croquet and Boules on the grass whilst listened to the cool sounds of a Jazz band and enjoying Pimms and canapés. The reception was in a Marquee facing the Sydney Harbour Bridge.  Significant to Matthew and Milly, their beloved Dog 'Monty' was also part of their day.  He was well behaved at the back of the church waiting patiently for his parents to get married.

Hunter Valley Wedding

Little things like the melody of Bell birds in the forest and the rustic charm of the chapel set among the vines remind you why destination weddings in the Hunter Valley are so special.

The setting was Roberts restaurant at the award winning Tower Estate. A leafy outdoor setting featuring a traditional Japanese tea ceremony was followed by a jam session on the veranda as guests mingled before entering the main house for the reception. With exceptional Hunter valley wines and mouth watering mains the guests, including many of Tammi’s visiting Japanese relatives, were left with lasting memories of not only our gorgeous couple’s wedding, but a unique and beautiful Australian gastronomic destination.

Traditional Church Wedding

Peta and Jeff's wedding was a traditional church wedding in North Sydney.  Their guests came from interstate and overseas, requiring nearby accommodation.   Hire cars collected people from the airport and busses shuffled guests between the Church and the Reception venue.

The reception venue provided stunning views of the City however inside required some dressing.  Drapery and stunning table centrepieces with colour-coordinated live fish gave a beautiful energy and romantic atmophere.
